textbook may be accessed here . If
on your computer the CD reader has an other letter, just
replace "F" with that
letter in the address above.
To load in Excel a data set from this location you have to replace the
string:
"
F:\PCDataSets\Excel\ .. " with the string
"http://www.stat.unc.edu/teach/rosu/DATASETS/.."
when you write the address of the file in the "load data" window.
You may copy a data set to your hard disk by holding "Shift" and
clicking on the link to that
data set. You are advised to create a directory
"D:\Exceldatasets" and save the data there.
If you know how to use "*.zip" files you may download the entire
directory from here
